Husband, Father, and Homeowner: When my wife Gloria and I learned we were expecting, we began searching for a community with strong schools, reliable services, and solid infrastructure. Though new to Melrose, one visit won us over. We moved here in May 2023 with our son Leo and our dog Gustavo, and from day one, neighbors welcomed us warmly. Watching our children play altogether is what makes Melrose home.
Proud Greek-American Democrat: I became a U.S. citizen in July 2025—and just a few weeks later, I decided to run for office. That might be a record, but for me, it feels like a natural step. Having experienced immigration firsthand, I understand the hope and resilience it requires. I’m committed to representing that spirit and giving back to the community that embraced me.
Entrepreneur with Experience in Finance and Diplomacy: I spent over 15 years in international development finance and investment banking, leading large-scale initiatives across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Working with diverse teams, I learned to collaborate across differences and find common ground. I have since founded and run a real estate investment firm which democratizes real estate wealth by expanding access to property for all.
Academic Background:
Born to a father in the foreign service, I lived in 9 countries across Europe and the U.S. I saw firsthand how diplomacy can shape global progress—from the Cold War to the Berlin Wall—an upbringing that shaped my global perspective. That early exposure inspired me to pursue public service as a career.
In 2004, I joined a multilateral development bank based in Europe as an international civil servant. My roles ranged from technical to managerial on both the funding and lending sides of the institution. Notable projects I worked on included efforts to stabilize a national economy during a major financial crisis and a multi-stakeholder initiative to deliver essential infrastructure in a conflict-affected region by bringing together diverse international partners. Through these experiences, I learned that real impact comes from a shared sense of purpose and collaboration.
During my career, I’ve also engaged in programs that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion—values that reflect my education at Boston College, where I embraced the Jesuit ideal of being “a person for others.”
I’m ready to bring that same spirit of service to Melrose. I’d love to hear your thoughts on how we can secure Melrose’s financial future—together.
